                Dry Hydrants

Dry hydrants provide a simple cost-effective solution to the need for quick access to water. Jefferson County Fire Departments test their dry hydrants regularly to check for cracks, leaks or loose fittings.

The District provides technical assistance to departments in fixing non functioning dry fire hydrants. We are always looking for new sites to replace dry fire hydrants. Give us a call if you need help with repairs or have a suggestion for a dry fire hydrant location in your area.
